About the position

The Account Executive at KTVU FOX 2 is responsible for maintaining and growing existing client accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a personable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who can create impactful marketing campaigns using the station's resources and digital platforms. The position emphasizes building long-lasting partnerships through effective communication and superb after-sales support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing client list by utilizing FOX stations and digital properties to create impactful marketing campaigns.
• Develop a consistent stream of new business and manage the entire sales cycle to achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Gain key insight on client goals and objectives to make presentations and recommendations that achieve them.
• Sell sponsorships that may include promotions initiated by sales persons.
• Create impactful multi-platform advertising campaigns that include KTVU/KTVU+, KTVU's digital offerings, and FLX.
• Utilize sales tools to educate clients on the broadcast landscape and develop value propositions.
• Manage and maintain campaigns to ensure all deliverables are met and provide after-sales support.

Requirements

• Media sales or other outside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to create, present, and sell opportunities to clients and advertising agencies.
• Experience with Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Kantar applications is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective time management, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
• Must possess a driver's license with a good driving record.
• High School diploma required; 4-year College degree preferred.
