About the position

The Account Executive (AE) at FOX Television Stations is responsible for driving sales by identifying qualified targets and utilizing strong communication and presentation skills throughout the sales process. The role involves creatively leveraging various resources, including local ratings, FOX Network, and digital platforms, to achieve sales goals. The AE will negotiate existing business, build strong client relationships, and manage administrative tasks such as forecasts and account collections.

Responsibilities

• Identify qualified sales targets and maintain a high closing ratio.
• Utilize strong communication and presentation skills throughout the sales process.
• Negotiate existing business and obtain incremental revenue from the market.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Complete administrative tasks such as weekly forecasts and credit collection of accounts.
• Leverage resources creatively to achieve sales results.

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in media sales.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of media math, TV ratings, and digital sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with a positive and energetic attitude.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and media-related software.
