About the position
The Account Executive at Convergint Technologies is responsible for cultivating new relationships and securing sales opportunities within dedicated accounts. This role involves selling a range of physical security integration services and collaborating with various teams to create winning proposals. The position is integral to the company's mission of being the best service provider for customers, emphasizing a culture of growth, accountability, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Sell to dedicated accounts, focusing on physical security integration services, cyber, maintenance programs, managed services, and transformational services.
- Develop a sales pipeline by working with decision makers to assess needs and gain agreement on business cases.
- Lead the sales pursuit team in constructing winning proposals that include quotes and business cases.
- Present proposals to decision makers, managing objections related to timing, price, and competition.
- Identify and develop pipeline opportunities specific to assigned markets, including global accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, and government sectors.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and deliver winning proposals.
Requirements
- College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of sales experience or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and apply solutions to customer challenges.
- Ability to build customer confidence and cultivate business relationships.
- Proactive in sourcing sales and service opportunities.
- Adaptability to business changes and ability to influence others.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
