About the position

The Senior Account Executive at Worldpay, LLC is responsible for driving sales and managing relationships with small- and medium-sized business software companies. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales funnel, and collaborating with various internal teams to deliver industry-leading payment solutions. The position requires a strong understanding of payment products and services, as well as excellent communication skills to engage with C-suite prospects and internal stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve business objectives, responsible for the full sales cycle.
  • Own the development and management of the sales funnel to achieve annual quota.
  • Collaborate across the organization with Sales Development, Solutioning, Legal, Implementation, Partner Success, and Marketing Teams.
  • Identify, research, and target key prospects and their decision makers using sales enablement technology and marketing assets.
  • Develop and present professional detailed proposals and supporting commercialization plans to C-suite prospects.
  • Manage the sales funnel in CRM to achieve sales key performance indicators including prospecting and meeting activities.
  • Ensure all client information in CRM is accurate and complete, tasks are planned and actioned, and forecast revenues are accurate.
  • Provide management with weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Collaborate with internal and partner developer teams to facilitate the design, build, certification, and timely release of solutions.
  • Qualify partners for Risk and Underwriting (R&U) and merchant AML/KYC to enable profitable pricing and merchant boarding.
  • Liaise with the R&U department to ensure a clear, scalable, and documented partner application process.
  • Act as the initial partner account manager, liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Comply with all company policies.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of payment products and services and strong industry knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and professionally to various audiences, including executive levels.
