About the position

The Account Executive position at Promotion Execution Partners (PEP) is responsible for managing marketing campaigns, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget. This role focuses heavily on incentives spend and involves collaborating with clients and suppliers to facilitate promotions from conception to completion. The Account Executive will also be tasked with maintaining accurate reporting and developing processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage promotions from conception to completion for assigned clients
  • Collaborate with clients to assemble necessary offer specifications and complete applicable request forms
  • Communicate offer promotion details to suppliers
  • Request and route supplier contracts for client approvals, returning signed contracts and POs to suppliers
  • Input offers into supplier portals
  • Route coupon proofs to clients for approval and to the pep team for scanning and validation
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients, suppliers, and internal resources to ensure flawless execution of promotions
  • Manage promotion scope changes while ensuring on-time and on-budget execution
  • Input promotion and campaign spends into client systems, ensuring accuracy at all points of entry
  • Master existing processes/procedures and lead the establishment of new or improved processes/procedures
  • Ensure precise and timely reporting of all data, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in reports generated
  • Assist in the establishment and development of processes/procedures
  • Seek additional training specific to couponing and omnichannel marketing

Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, and oral & written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, vendors, and clients
  • Effectively proof own and others' work to ensure accuracy
  • Actively manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Demonstrate internal leadership and collaborate to deliver projects to clients
  • Ability to mentor, grow, and work harmoniously as part of a larger team
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with above-average proficiency in Excel
