About the position

The Account Executive at NAVEX is responsible for proactively partnering with existing customers to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling integrated risk and compliance management software products. This role emphasizes building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and effectively communicating the value of NAVEX's solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring in-person collaboration at the Lake Oswego, Oregon headquarters three days a week, and offers significant career growth and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with existing NAVEX customers to create new business opportunities through cross-sell and upsell.
  • Identify and engage existing customers, leveraging prospecting techniques to expand solution and service offerings.
  • Create and leverage a network of internal and external partners to improve access to resources and expertise.
  • Utilize and coordinate internal resources to advance the sales cycle, ensuring a healthy customer relationship.
  • Navigate buying groups across different functions to advance sales goals.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to key decision makers, showcasing industry and product knowledge.
  • Identify and meet customer needs, offering the best solutions.
  • Effectively develop and prioritize a pipeline of opportunities, accurately forecasting sales.
  • Attend initial in-person training and ongoing virtual product trainings to stay informed on industry trends.
  • Crush sales quotas by negotiating and closing opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience; SaaS experience is a plus.
  • A passion for learning in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong prospecting, planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with a persuasive and compassionate approach.
  • Technical proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to recognize and anticipate process and operational problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to drive results through persuasive sales engagement and product knowledge.
