About the position

The Account Executive for SMB Sales at T-Mobile is a dynamic role focused on building relationships with customers and driving sales in underserved markets. This position is designed for results-oriented sales professionals who are eager to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas by acquiring new accounts through various sales techniques. The role emphasizes solution-based selling, where the incumbent will analyze customer needs and tailor recommendations to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under the supervision of the sales manager.
  • Identify customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers.
  • Work with leadership to develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
  • Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Required)
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail (Required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required)
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills (Required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations (Preferred)
