About the position

The Account Executive for the SMB Team Sales at T-Mobile USA, Inc. is responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas by acquiring new accounts across various geographic territories. This role involves selling T-Mobile's products, services, and solutions through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking, while utilizing solution-based selling techniques to tailor recommendations to customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under the supervision of the sales manager.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services using solution-based selling techniques.
  • Negotiate and close deals with potential customers.
  • Work with leadership to develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
  • Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Utilize sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools to manage the sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment.
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Effective presentation and closing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations.
