About the position

As an SMB Account Executive at CodeSignal, you will focus on outbound sales to drive new business growth for the Hire product suite. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting potential customers to closing deals, with an emphasis on outbound lead generation and relationship building. You will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base, requiring a proactive communication style and a results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify high-potential prospects within the SMB space.
  • Execute targeted outbound sales strategies to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads, understand customer pain points, and move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Conduct product demos and deliver tailored presentations to prospective customers.
  • Develop compelling proposals and value-based solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects, understanding their business challenges and goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering solutions that align with their talent acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on outbound campaigns and messaging.
  • Work with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers for smooth transitions post-sale.
  • Share market feedback and customer insights to inform product development and sales strategy.
