About the position

The Account Executive in Supply Chain Life Sciences at Gartner is a seasoned sales professional responsible for partnering with existing clients to address their critical priorities. This role focuses on account retention and growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new services and products. The Account Executive will work closely with C-Level executives to develop effective strategies and will be part of a diverse sales team that emphasizes continuous learning and achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with existing Gartner clients to address their critical priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for account retention and growth through contract expansion.
  • Introduce new services and products to clients.
  • Collaborate with C-Level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Guide customer satisfaction and account retention by working with clients and internal teams.
  • Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years of consultative, B2B sales experience.
  • Experience prospecting to the C-Suite and senior-level leadership of enterprise businesses.
  • Strong executive presence and intrinsic drive.
  • Ability to pivot and work through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated strong sales process and strategies.
  • Track record of overachievement on goals or quotas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the supply chain or life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with Gartner's services and products.
