About the position

The Named Account Executive for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at Salesforce is responsible for driving new business growth within existing accounts and leading strategic initiatives in analytics and application platforms. This role focuses on building strong relationships with federal civilian agencies and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in existing accounts within the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Drive strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application platform initiatives.
  • Develop new opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate with support personnel to win new business.
  • Forecast sales and achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the Department of Defense (DoD) sector.
  • Proven track record of quota-carrying sales performance.
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement skills.
  • Experience with public sector enterprise systems and cloud computing security guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of federal civilian agencies and their acquisition guidelines.
  • Experience in leading teams in a matrixed environment.
