About the position

The Account Executive at ConvergeOne is responsible for driving sales of the company's comprehensive portfolio of communication and data technology solutions. This role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and new clients. The Account Executive will engage in strategic discussions with C-level executives and manage the entire sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective resolution of any issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provides sales consultation, design, support, and management of customer activity involving collaboration, enterprise networking, data solutions, and security products.
  • Establishes and develops business relationships with customers in assigned sectors to maximize profitability and growth.
  • Analyzes customer and competition situations to generate effective sales strategies.
  • Maintains accurate sales forecasting and reporting in accordance with company standards.
  • Develops and executes a Business Plan aligned with company objectives and targets.
  • Conducts C-level business discussions to drive sales.
  • Develops technical competency in all products and solutions offered by ConvergeOne.
  • Expedites resolution of customer escalations and complaints.
  • Stays informed on industry changes and improves sales techniques.
  • Fosters relationships with supporting teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Engages in an end-to-end sales cycle with cross-functional teams.
  • Consults innovatively to offer customer solutions with technical acumen.
  • Identifies customer needs and pain points to provide effective solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct selling experience in communications and data technology.
  • 4-year college degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work directly with C-level executives in mid to large enterprises.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates sales ability and technical aptitude.
  • Proven track record of territory development and new business accounts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and sales forecasting tools.
  • Brings existing contacts and customer relationships to ConvergeOne.
  • Experience with solution selling, particularly in Cloud solutions and associated services.
  • Recognized as a top producer in previous roles.
