About the position

Censys is seeking a seasoned Federal Account Executive to focus on the Civilian Government sector. This role involves driving sales and adoption of Censys technology within the designated territory, which includes key agencies such as the Department of Justice, Department of Labor, Department of Transportation, and HUD, among others. The Account Executive will be responsible for penetrating target accounts for new business and expanding existing business through effective relationship management. This position requires collaboration with key partners and cross-functional teams, including Sales leadership, Marketing, and Tech Support, to achieve company goals. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on driving new pipeline and revenue growth through regular customer communications and the implementation of value selling methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and adoption of Censys technology within the Civilian Government sector.
  • Penetrate prospect target accounts for new business.
  • Expand existing business through relationship management with customers.
  • Collaborate with key partners and cross-functional teams to meet company goals.
  • Implement value selling methodologies to increase win probability.
  • Manage and grow multiple opportunities within the territory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven experience growing and managing CIV accounts.
  • Proven Federal sales experience with a track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Deep knowledge of CIV agencies sales and associated contracting mechanisms.
  • Experience managing the civilian government territory.
  • Ability to establish and cultivate strong direct customer and partner relationships.
  • Experience working within Salesforce.com and sales intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Enterprise sales security software experience preferred.
