About the position

The Account Executive for Visual Graphics at BluEdge is a pivotal role focused on developing successful business relationships and expanding corporate color digital imaging service sales within the Northern NJ/New York area. This position is designed for a dynamic sales professional who is driven to achieve sales goals and increase revenue through aggressive prospecting, presenting, and closing new business opportunities. The role encompasses selling a variety of products including Wide Format graphics, posters, banners, wraps, floor and wall graphics, as well as Small Format color-marketing materials such as booklets, brochures, and training manuals. The Account Executive will be based at the NJ and New York office, working closely with clients and project managers to ensure a seamless sales process and high-quality service delivery. In this role, the Account Executive will be responsible for developing the assigned territory by identifying key decision-makers and utilizing various strategies such as market research, cold-call campaigns, direct solicitation, and leveraging personal contacts. Maintaining an established market presence and an extensive network of outside referral sources will be crucial for generating new business. The Account Executive will also need to develop a deep understanding of prospects' financial and general business information to tailor their sales approach effectively. Additionally, the role requires consistent communication with clients and project managers, ensuring that all interactions align with company and department guidelines. The Account Executive will actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process, addressing and resolving client issues as they arise. Completing quotes and order forms in accordance with company pricing procedures is also a key responsibility of this position. The ideal candidate will possess a current book of business in Color Graphics Sales, particularly in Large Format Color Graphics or Small Format Color, and will have a proven track record of success in outside sales.

Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue and achieve sales goals consistent with sales plans by aggressively prospecting, presenting, and closing new business.
  • Develop assigned territory by identifying key decision makers.
  • Utilize market research, cold-call campaigns, direct solicitation, mailing lists, company generated leads, and personal contacts to generate new business.
  • Maintain established market presence and extensive network of outside referral sources for new business.
  • Develop knowledge of prospects' financial and general business information.
  • Monitor client accounts with the finance department to ensure conformity with terms.
  • Provide clients and project managers with consistent communication in accordance with company and department guidelines.
  • Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process and resolve client problems.
  • Complete quotes and order forms consistent with company and department pricing procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience selling color services.
  • A current, existing book of business in Color Graphics Sales in Large Format Color Graphics or Small Format Color.
  • Strong communication skills, including dynamic listening, presentation, and written/verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, managers, and other department heads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac or PC.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Print Sales, with Large Format Color experience being a plus.
  • Knowledge of Digital Print Sales to advertising, pharmaceutical, healthcare communications, retail, and corporate sectors.
  • Familiarity with Environmental Graphics (Wall Murals, Custom Wall Paper, Decorative Window/Glass Designs, Logo Signage, etc.).
  • Experience working with Advertising and Marketing Professionals, Corporate Project Managers, Facilities Managers, and Interior Designers.
