About the position

The Account Executive role at Notified is focused on developing and executing public relations programs for both financial and non-financial clients. This remote position requires the individual to engage in sales activities, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality service delivery. The role emphasizes the importance of understanding client needs, prospecting for new business, and maintaining excellent communication with media outlets to secure placements for clients' press releases and stories.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for continual prospecting activities for new sales leads for assigned business services.
• Qualify new business prospects by determining if they match company services and qualifications.
• Pitch press releases and feature ideas to top-tier media to secure placements for clients.
• Support sales activities such as RFPs and proposal development.
• Monitor press coverage daily and report results to the team and clients.
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in national, regional, or state sales, preferably in the public relations/media/social monitoring industry.
• Strong understanding of public relations and its value to clients' businesses.
