About the position

The Account Executive for Roche's Core Lab is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the Chemistry and Immunoassay sectors across the SF Bay area and Hawaii. This role involves developing customer relationships, strategizing sales approaches, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer experiences and drive revenue growth. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on building networks and navigating complex sales environments.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for Roche Core Lab in targeted accounts.
  • Develop customer prospects and maintain relationships with decision-makers in laboratories.
  • Conduct territory planning and routing for efficiency.
  • Utilize sales tools like Miller Heiman to ensure team alignment and customer focus.
  • Sell Roche products by overcoming objections and establishing competitive barriers.
  • Generate demand and maximize product awareness through customer education.
  • Assist customers in achieving business and technical goals through strategic reviews.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to leverage diverse skills for increased sales.
  • Analyze data to solve diverse problems and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods for solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the Diagnostics industry.
  • Experience selling capital and laboratory equipment into hospitals and reference laboratories.
  • Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the Diagnostics industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in complex sales environments.
  • Participation in an approved accelerated development or fellowship program.
