About the position

The Account Executive at NBCUniversal is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, focusing on generating new business revenue through customized marketing solutions. This role emphasizes consultative sales, effective lead generation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet revenue goals, particularly in the Hispanic marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and own client direct and agency relationships through day-to-day interaction.
  • Create customized solutions for clients that demonstrate the power of NBCUniversal Local, NBC & Telemundo Stations Group, and NBC Regional Sports Networks.
  • Focus on generating new business revenue by converting targets from competitive media.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of client goals and revenue attainment.
  • Manage multi-market opportunities, engaging with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Communicate the value of the Hispanic marketplace and the benefits of investing in Telemundo properties.
  • Engage in business research and professional development for long-term business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to advance mutual goals.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in media sales and/or marketing roles with a successful track record of generating increased sales.
  • Knowledge of media research and measurement products.
  • Proven success selling non-linear advertising solutions including OTT/CTV.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS programs: Excel, PPT, Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency, television, production, creative marketing and/or other brand entertainment experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Sacramento DMA is a plus.
