About the position

The Business Account Executive at TDS is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through solution selling. This role involves leveraging TDS' technology offerings, including VoIP solutions and managed services, to meet customer needs. The position requires a proactive approach to cold calling and prospecting, with a focus on building relationships and delivering tailored solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
• Leverage the TDS CRM system to develop prospecting and sales strategies for effective closing ratios.
• Write and submit accurate and timely new orders following the established sales process.
• Manage and submit moves, adds, changes, and deletion orders (MACD) for existing customers.
• Conduct sales calls to determine customer needs and effectively communicate TDS' value proposition.

Requirements

• 2+ years inside and outside sales experience.
• 1+ years of experience in successful prospecting and generating leads through cold calling.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Track record of success in business-to-business sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
