About the position

The Account Executive role at OUTFRONT is a vital position focused on driving sales and building client relationships within the media and advertising sector. This individual contributor role requires leveraging OUTFRONT's diverse advertising assets to help clients enhance their brand visibility and business growth. The position emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and effective communication with clients to develop impactful advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  • Independently manage time, travel and resources to maximize the number of sales calls
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and agreements to prospective and existing customers
  • Collaborate with internal creative department and clients to assist in development of effective advertising campaigns
  • Partner with Charting, Creative, Operations and Administrative staff to ensure timely delivery of advertisements in agreed locations
  • Assist in the resolution of issues related to billing and accounts
  • Maintain consistent and detailed use of Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage all sales activities and pipeline opportunities
  • Develop and maintain selling skills by attending regular training and professional development
  • Search out business leads and trending products

Requirements

  • Must have a proven record of exceeding sales quotas within the past two years
  • Strong experience managing customer relationships
  • Have a high level of organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
  • Experience with selling digital and/or programmatic is a plus
  • College degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years' experience in sales, preferably media sales
  • Local market knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to deliver results

  • Experience with selling digital and/or programmatic is a plus
  • Local market knowledge preferred
