About the position

The Account Executive at Pathify is responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated territory of target accounts, focusing on the higher education sector. This role encompasses the entire customer journey, from prospecting and sales to onboarding and upselling, requiring strong collaboration with internal teams and effective territory account planning.

Responsibilities

  • Find, prospect, sell, negotiate, close, and collaborate in onboarding customers.
  • Perform daily prospecting activities, with emphasis on phone outreach.
  • Perform demos of the Pathify platform to prospective customers.
  • Create quarterly territory development plans in partnership with leadership.
  • Execute activities in accordance with the territory development plan.
  • Research trends and discover new opportunities to increase sales.
  • Log activities and update pipeline metrics daily.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of products and services and innovate new ways to serve businesses.
  • Ensure an efficient hand-off to Customer Success for all new customers prior to start of service.
  • Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years SaaS software sales experience
  • Commitment to sales as a career and a science
  • Evidence of consistent above quota production in a similar role
  • Ability to travel 3-4 times per quarter
