About the position

The Named Account Executive for the Department of Homeland Security at Salesforce is responsible for driving new business growth within existing accounts in the public sector, specifically focusing on federal civilian agencies. This role requires a proven sales performer with a strong background in enterprise sales, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD) and a deep understanding of public sector enterprise systems and cloud computing security.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in existing accounts within the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Drive strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application platform initiatives.
  • Develop new opportunities and build a loyal customer base.
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate with a matrix of support personnel to win new business.
  • Forecast sales and achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the DoD or public sector.
  • Proven track record of quota-carrying sales performance.
  • Strong sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement skills.
  • Experience with public sector enterprise systems and cloud computing security guidelines.
