About the position

As an Account Executive at WebLink, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering relationships with clients in the Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations sector. This position involves overseeing complex solution sales cycles, where you will be responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and closing new and existing business opportunities. You will manage the sales pipeline using WebLink CRM, ensuring that all leads and opportunities are tracked effectively. Your ability to demo and present WebLink's offerings, both virtually and in person, will be crucial in engaging with decision-makers at various levels of seniority. In this role, you will serve as an educator and enthusiast of industry knowledge, providing consultative sales to recommend solutions that address the unique business challenges faced by your clients. You will maintain a database of qualified leads through various channels, including referrals, cold calling, email outreach, and attendance at industry events and conferences. Your responsibilities will also include sourcing and developing client relationships, identifying compelling reasons for change, and formulating recommended solutions to resolve business problems. Additionally, you will be expected to attend trade shows and conferences within your assigned territory as required. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the growth of a leading SaaS provider. Responsibilities

  • Overseeing complex, solution sales cycles.
  • Prospecting, nurturing, and closing new and existing business opportunities.
  • Management of sales pipeline through WebLink CRM.
  • Ability to demo and present an overview of WebLink virtually through web conference or in person to decision stakeholders.
  • Engaging with senior level decision makers with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and follow-up.
  • Serving as an educator and enthusiast of industry knowledge and direction.
  • Selling consultatively and making recommendations to prospects and existing clients of the various solutions the company offers to address their business issues.
  • Maintaining a database of qualified leads through referrals, cold calling, email, attendance at industry events/conferences and networking.
  • Sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
  • Identifying compelling reasons for change, formulating and creating a recommended solution, and presenting explanations to resolve prospects' business problems.
  • Attending trade shows and conferences in the assigned territory as required.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of B2B experience as a top producing, quota carrying sales professional.
  • SaaS experience within a B2B is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and expanding environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • An understanding of the chamber of commerce and/or associations industry or direct professional experience is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a national team of professionals.
  • Four-year university/college degree required.
