About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies specifically for the Commercial and Industrial lines of business. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining market awareness, and establishing long-term relationships with clients to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue quotas and managing a book of business.
  • 2+ years of solid waste industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, advertising, marketing, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Identify viable leads and acquire new business for the Commercial and Industrial lines of business.
  • Target new business and opportunities from competitors in the market.
  • Focus on opportunities with a revenue band of $200-$2000 per month.
  • Maintain awareness of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate changing customer needs.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's services, pricing structures, and additional services specified by prospects.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with new clients to grow revenue and meet pricing objectives.
  • Execute service agreements with customers.
  • Build relationships and increase company visibility through participation in company-sponsored activities, trade shows, and Chamber of Commerce events.
  • Partner with Operations Team and Customer Service department to address customer needs.
  • Perform site visits as required.
  • Utilize SalesForce.com daily to schedule and document all activities for new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Achieve weekly activity standards, including phone blocking for appointments and overall management of the sales pipeline.
  • Responsible for achieving and/or exceeding monthly growth quota.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
