About the position

The Sales Executive for Mid-Level Accounts is responsible for managing and growing business relationships with mid-level customers within the Egg Industry. This role requires a strategic approach to increasing product penetration, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment with the company's sales and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing accounts in the food consumer packaging space, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage customer accounts within the assigned region to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at retail and distribution partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Execute sales strategies that align with the overall company goals, focusing on increasing distribution, product availability, and shelf space.
  • Develop customer-specific sales plans, including promotional activities, trade spending, and merchandising strategies.
  • Negotiate and implement annual contracts, pricing agreements, and promotional deals with customers.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the customer segment to expand market share and product placement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance) to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and market trends to provide regular updates on account health, growth potential, and business development opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, quarterly business reviews, and performance reports to management.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, sales pipeline, and deal progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Category Management, Marketing, and R&D, to ensure product launches, promotions, and initiatives are effectively executed.
  • Align with supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within the Food Consumer Packaging industry, specifically managing mid-level accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
