About the position

The Account Executive at Gannett Co., Inc. is responsible for building relationships with local businesses to assist them with their advertising and digital marketing strategies. Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local businesses to assist with advertising and digital marketing plans.
• Develop partnerships with large local businesses to help them achieve their marketing goals.
• Identify customer needs and execute account plans and custom client solutions.
• Maximize clients' online presence through tailored digital marketing strategies.
• Pursue and close new business and revenue streams.
• Retain, manage, and grow existing client accounts.
• Articulate and present the suite of products to business decision makers.
• Conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, and proposals.
• Manage a specified sales pipeline and develop long-term success strategies.
• Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to record all sales activity effectively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B sales role.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, with Google AdWords and Analytics certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
