About the position

The Account Executive at Expedient is responsible for selling IT and cloud solutions to businesses in the Memphis market. This role focuses on prospecting, developing sales pipelines, forecasting opportunities, and closing deals to meet individual and quarterly sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B technology sales, particularly in cloud solutions and related services.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Expedient cloud solutions to businesses in the Memphis and extended region, focusing on net new clients.
  • Grow the sales pipeline of new business and forecast future sales based on trends and observations.
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver sales proposals and presentations in collaboration with a Solutions Architect.
  • Partner with Lead Generation and Channel Partner teams to generate leads and convert them into clients.

Requirements

  • 5 years of technology-based sales experience including cloud solutions, data centers, hardware, software, and/or IT services.
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing new business in the B2B technology arena with documented evidence of meeting and exceeding quota.
  • Strong sales funnel development skills, attentive to both short and long sales cycles.
  • Excellent in-person and virtual networking and presentation skills.
  • Critical time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales and CRM platforms, as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree desired but not required.
