About the position

The Account Executive at Audacy, Inc. is a dynamic sales professional responsible for developing new business and building strong relationships with local and regional decision-makers. This role involves creating strategic advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, leveraging Audacy's extensive media portfolio, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the campaign lifecycle. The position offers the opportunity to sell on a national level and is based in Los Angeles, requiring in-person attendance at the office for part of the week.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop new business and build strong relationships with local/regional decision-makers.
  • Create strategic and creative multi-platform, multi-channel advertising campaigns.
  • Bring innovative marketing ideas to life that make a difference for clients.
  • Continuously learn and train on new assets and marketing techniques.
  • Close business and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Achieve sales objectives and assigned goals.
  • Continuously build knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in media sales (broadcast radio and digital media preferred).
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to proactively generate new business and manage the full sales cycle.
  • Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing, especially in digital, audio, and interactive.
  • A creative and strategic mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office programs, SalesForce, Media Monitors, Xray, Nielsen, Google Analytics, Google Ads (SEM), Facebook Ads.
  • A positive attitude and a desire to continuously grow your income.
  • Ability to be in-person in the Los Angeles office for a minimum of 3 days per week (Tues-Thurs).
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check.
