About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Bluum USA, Inc. is responsible for selling educational products and services, focusing on achieving sales goals through effective territory management and customer engagement. This role emphasizes building long-term relationships with clients, conducting product demonstrations, and maintaining a professional company image while driving sales in the K12 educational sector.

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively manage the sales cycle and optimize assigned territory to achieve revenue and customer goals.
  • Create a comprehensive sales/business plan covering potential customers, including new account development and expansion of existing customer revenue.
  • Achieve established weekly activity guidelines and document the sales process using CRM.
  • Build customer loyalty by developing strong relationships with decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Perform sales presentations and product demonstrations to promote products and services.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals in accordance with company policy, ensuring healthy profit margins.
  • Manage customer expectations throughout the sales cycle and ensure placement on bid lists.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and progress reports for the Regional Vice President (RVP).
  • Attend industry trade shows and the company's National Sales Meeting.
  • Ensure ethical use of company funds when traveling or incurring expenses.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree completed.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in K12 educational sales or technology.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong selling, closing, and pipeline management skills.
  • Integrity, passion, and strong presentation skills.
  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sales and technology delivery.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Exceptional listening and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer/internet savvy.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
