About the position

The Account Executive role at Outbrain is a pivotal position aimed at driving revenue growth within the Mid-Market business segment. This individual contributor role requires a motivated and passionate professional who excels in deal-making, client engagement, and building long-term partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with a dynamic team to expand Outbrain's presence in the U.S. market, utilizing a consultative sales approach to foster relationships with brands and independent agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive relationships with brands and independent agencies using a consultative approach.
  • Create and maintain trusted contacts with new business clients to drive revenue.
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Utilize problem-solving and collaborative skills to overcome objections and create opportunities.
  • Communicate Outbrain's value proposition effectively to various teams and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Mid-Market Sales and client support teams to ensure high service and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital media sales with a focus on performance-based media and technology.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape and a track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to predictably forecast and execute on business goals.
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability in different environments and with various contacts.
  • Proven track record of fostering relationships with key decision makers.
  • Ability to bring together multiple buyers within the same company.
