About the position

The Account Executive at Kontoor Brands serves as the primary contact and relationship manager for multiple domestic accounts. This role is pivotal in driving business results by understanding the current business environment and identifying market opportunities. The Account Executive will act as a sales and product expert, collaborating with various internal departments to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions, ultimately establishing competitive advantages for the brands.

Responsibilities

  • Sells, negotiates, and communicates Brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Works cross-functionally to optimize catalog offerings while managing risk to Kontoor Brands.
  • Provides direction to cross-functional areas.
  • Develops strong internal and external relationships to identify growth opportunities with current and emerging accounts.
  • Collaborates closely with the VP of Sales to develop strategies for category growth and key account management.
  • Analyzes sales data to identify growth and missed opportunities.
  • Develops PowerPoint presentations to communicate strategy to internal partners and external buying teams.
  • Coordinates category management, replenishment, and sales planning strategies with designated personnel.
  • Works with marketing to optimize marketing spend timing and tactics.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a key account sales role
  • Comfortable with up to 30% travel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with accounts that require high SKU counts
  • Strong analytical skills in Power BI and Excel
  • Retail math knowledge
  • Ability to work internally with cross-functional areas.
