About the position

The Account Executive at ConvergeOne, Inc. is responsible for driving sales of the company's comprehensive portfolio of products and services. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and identifying growth opportunities within existing and new accounts. The Account Executive will engage in strategic discussions with clients, manage the sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides sales consultation, design, support, and management of customer activity involving collaboration, enterprise networking, data solutions, and security products and services.
  • Establishes, maintains, and develops business with customers and potential customers in assigned sectors to enhance profitability and growth.
  • Analyzes customer and competition situations to generate strategies that achieve business objectives.
  • Maintains accurate sales forecasting and reporting procedures in accordance with company standards.
  • Develops, implements, and executes a Business Plan aligned with company objectives and assigned targets.
  • Conducts C-level business discussions to foster relationships and drive sales.
  • Develops and maintains technical competency in all products and solutions offered by the company.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer escalations and complaints.
  • Stays informed on industry changes and works to improve sales techniques and knowledge.
  • Fosters strong working relationships with supporting teams to reach assigned targets.
  • Engages and manages an end-to-end sales cycle, collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Sells solutions that align with assigned targets and consults innovatively to offer customer solutions.
  • Identifies customer needs and pain points, providing expert solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct selling experience in technology or related fields.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of communication and data technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for C-level discussions.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Technical acumen to understand and explain complex solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public sector or healthcare verticals.
  • Familiarity with managed solutions and application development.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
