About the position

J.E.S. & Sons, a growing radio communications dealer, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join their dynamic sales team. The role focuses on driving business development efforts, managing client accounts, and fostering strong relationships with customers in the technology sales sector. The ideal candidate will leverage technical sales expertise and exceptional communication skills to analyze client needs and negotiate effective solutions. The position offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, commission, and allowances for phone and vehicle use.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Engage in warm calling to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or outside sales account management, preferably in technology sales.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals successfully.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of ownership over tasks and responsibilities.
