About the position

The Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and sales team members, serving as the primary point of contact for managing orders and quotes. This role requires effective communication and follow-up to ensure customer needs are met in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and sales team members.
  • Provide territory support for ISC Sales representatives.
  • Manage orders and quotes, including issuing and reviewing quotes and order acknowledgements.
  • Order samples from appropriate suppliers.
  • Communicate order and shipping information, including ship date changes, backorders, split orders, and tracking information.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for order management.
  • Research customer concerns, issues, and requests, including specifications and drawings.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding quotes and orders.
  • Reach out to customers and sales representatives about no sale or low sale accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to sell excess and aging inventory to customers.
  • Follow up on quotes with customers and sales representatives.
  • Create cases for customer issues and provide follow-up throughout the resolution process.
  • Onboard new customers and ensure their needs are met through regular follow-up.
  • Promote and market company capabilities, products, and services.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of customer service or related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or coordinate with multiple teams.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
