About the position

The Customer Service/Order Entry position at LEE Industries involves providing exceptional support to customers in a fast-paced office environment. The role focuses on responding to inquiries, processing orders, and assisting the Account Executive Team Leader, all while maintaining high standards of communication and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping availability, production availability, price quotes, and production information via fax, telephone, and email.
  • Input repair orders using company software and perform data entry for quotes.
  • Make decisions to facilitate the resolution of customer issues.
  • Assist the Account Executive Team Leader as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience required, preferably in high-end furniture manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and IBM Notes.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in an open team environment.
  • Ability to work with various personalities and management levels.
  • 3-4 years of customer service experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Furniture manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
