About the position

The Account Executive role at Kforce involves managing client relationships, executing sales strategies, and overseeing account management to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client objectives.
  • Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Monitor client activity, renewals, and contract negotiations to ensure continued revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer support) to ensure smooth delivery and execution of client solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new prospects, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging referrals.
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of potential clients and opportunities using CRM software.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue projections to management.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting sales strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights on customer needs.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product developments and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings or industry events.
