About the position

The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing business within existing accounts while pursuing new profitable business opportunities. This role involves establishing strong relationships with key customer personnel, resolving issues quickly, and developing strategies to capture new business. The position requires effective communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to prepare sales forecasts and coordinate with internal resources to provide value-added services to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to meet the annual sales plan in assigned accounts.
  • Grow business in assigned accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present price strategies and negotiate effectively.
  • Build customer relationships as a value-added business consultant.
  • Utilize the expense budget to enhance sales positions with customers and prospects.
  • Prepare sales presentations, call plans, proposals, and reports for communication.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts based on market information and account conditions.
  • Coordinate interface between customers and company resources to provide value-added service.
  • Attend work during scheduled shifts as attendance is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years sales experience, with at least two years in printing or allied products.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 70% and overnight travel up to 50%.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Suite.
