About the position

As an Account Executive at Tech Desk, you will play a crucial role in helping restaurants enhance their operational efficiency through effective technology solutions. This outbound sales position involves daily prospecting, consultative selling, and working closely with restaurant owners to implement tailored tech options that meet their needs. You will be responsible for driving to various restaurant locations within your territory, conducting discovery and demo meetings, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect daily to identify potential restaurant clients.
  • Conduct discovery and demo meetings to understand client needs and present appropriate tech solutions.
  • Follow a defined sales process from beginning to end.
  • Work cross-functionally with all teams to ensure successful client onboarding and go-live.
  • Drive to restaurants in your territory to meet with owners and decision-makers.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to close sales effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an outbound sales role or 1 year in the hospitality industry or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to demonstrate tech solutions.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Reliable transportation for daily travel to client locations.
  • Familiarity with CRM and technology applications.

  • Experience working for or with restaurant technology vendors.
