About the position

The Account Executive role at Quirch Foods involves managing sales activities, maintaining client relationships, and acquiring new customers. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements.
• Ensure that existing clients are retained and maintained while acquiring new customers.
• Carry out sales and marketing activities within agreed budgets and timelines.
• Develop constructive and effective solutions to issues affecting export procedures.
• Review distributor performance and provide relevant information to management.
• Attend meetings with other companies to negotiate for business growth.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitors' strategies.
• Propose and negotiate sales, pricing, and terms to assigned accounts and new customers.
• Analyze product purchasing options and ensure supplier compliance through plant visits.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers at target accounts.
• Manage all sales results and A/R collections for assigned accounts.
• Oversee pricing and margin management within assigned accounts.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions.

Requirements

• Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
• Financial and business analytical skills.
• Proficient in computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AS 400.
• Category and product knowledge.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients.
• Pricing skills (cost to retail).
