About the position

The Account Executive (AE) at Vestis Uniforms and Workplace Supplies is responsible for driving sales and expanding market share in the Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, and Northern VA territories. This role focuses primarily on uniform sales, while also encompassing linens and facility services. The AE will engage in both in-person prospecting and sales activities, supported by a structured sales process and comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and secure new business in assigned territories.
  • Sell uniforms, linens, and facility services to meet customer needs.
  • Achieve industry-leading sales goals, including 200+ dials per week.
  • Participate in a paid, comprehensive sales training program.
  • Follow a structured sales process while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and experience.
  • Overcome objections and influence customer decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience focused on new account generation.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and generating sales leads.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in outside sales.
  • Familiarity with the uniform and facility services industry.
