About the position

The Account Executive position at Aston Carter involves recruiting local businesses to join a new Ecommerce Logistics program. This role is crucial for expanding the company's sales team in response to growing market needs. The Account Executive will work closely with a Field Manager and local contractors to engage prospective businesses, guide them through the application process, and coordinate recruitment events.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns
  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest to apply
  • Qualify the prospective businesses and guide through application and vetting process
  • Track lead activity and manage pipeline in Salesforce
  • Support Field Manager to plan and host recruitment events in the community (ex: lunch and learns, townhall meetings, coffee chats)
  • Partner with the Field Manager to work with local influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations
  • Import excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in sales or business development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
