About the position

The Account Executive position at The Meadville Tribune involves developing and selling multimedia advertising plans to local businesses and organizations. The role focuses on building relationships with current and potential advertisers, understanding their needs, and providing creative advertising solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to meet sales goals and collaborate with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Learn the benefits of our vast line of print and digital products and how to effectively implement them with local businesses and organizations.
• Develop and sell multi-media advertising plans for clients and potential clients.
• Build solid relationships with current advertisers as well as potential advertisers in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Work toward meeting and exceeding goals by pushing yourself and being persistent.
• Offer creative input for advertisements and campaigns based on clients' needs and goals.
• Submit thought-out ad layouts to the graphics team and get them approved in a timely manner.
• Listen to and observe each customer's needs and develop a solid solution for them to increase awareness of their business/products/services.
• Learn to prospect and seek out new businesses to help them advance their branding in the homes and devices of our readership.
• Work with a tight-knit team that will help you along the way.

• Knowledge of Google Ads is a plus
