About the position

The Account Executive at Activated Insights is responsible for driving sales growth in the post-acute and long-term care market. This role involves managing both new and existing sales accounts, building relationships, and exceeding revenue goals through effective sales strategies. The position requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to recommend solutions that meet customer needs, all while contributing to the company's mission of improving care outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue goals through active management of net new and existing sales accounts in a named territory.
  • Understand and build rapport through new sales, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Meet weekly activity levels to successfully build sales funnel.
  • Fluently speak to challenges in the healthcare industries served and recommend Activated Insights products as solutions.
  • Actively learn and track industry trends, needs, and impacts.
  • Build and manage relationships in a named territory.
  • Work at all stages of the sales cycle including prospecting, nurturing, and closing.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in software sales or related fields.
  • Experience with go-to-market tech stacks like Hubspot, Salesforce, Outreach.io, Salesloft, and DocuSign is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, particularly Sales and Marketing.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor solutions to meet those needs.
  • Track record of building strong customer relationships and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in software sales is a plus, but onboarding and training are available for those new to the field.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry developments.
