About the position

The Account Executive position at NKSFB involves working within the Business Management team to provide accounting services to high-net-worth clients in the entertainment industry. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The Account Executive will handle bookkeeping duties, prepare financial statements, and maintain client relationships while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Handle robust books and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Book and process client payroll on a recurring basis.
  • Maintain accurate General Ledger/Trial Balances.
  • Onboard new clients and set up new vendors and General Ledger codes in the accounting system.
  • Record opening Trial Balance as journal entries and prepare and reconcile bank statements.
  • Record purchase or refinance of client's automobiles/residence.
  • Maintain cash flow and reporting requests for clients.
  • Provide backup coverage for other Account Executives as needed.
  • Process Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts when the Assistant Account Executive is out.
  • Coordinate and complete client loan applications and collaborate with Senior Accountants for final review.
  • Provide accurate asset schedules for insurance.
  • Work closely with the tax department to ensure clean and accurate books.
  • Ensure that tax deadlines (1099s, estimated payments) are met timely.
  • Create commission reconciliation schedules for non-touring clients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • 4 plus years of experience in accounting, business management, and/or working with high-net-worth individuals.
  • 1 plus years of experience working in AgilLink, Datafaction, and/or QuickBooks preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
