About the position

The Account Executive at Pavion will play a crucial role in expanding the company's presence in the Worcester and Rhode Island territories, focusing on the fire business unit. This position involves both developing new customer relationships and strengthening existing partnerships within commercial accounts, while promoting a range of AFA products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the company's presence in the Worcester and RI territories.
  • Create new market share through prospecting and developing a new customer base.
  • Strengthen existing customer partnerships within commercial accounts.
  • Cultivate new leads through referrals, company provided leads, networking, and cold calling.
  • Efficiently manage territory resources to maximize daily production and customer relationships.
  • Provide consultations to customers that include design, scope of work, and solution integration.
  • Promote and cross-sell all AFA products and services.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing representatives and operational counterparts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of fire systems/fire alarms sales or low voltage or CCTV experience
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a successful commercial or business (B2B) sales consultant in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry.
  • A proven track record of building and expanding customer relationships.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Understanding of business trade relationships.
