About the position

The Sales Executive role is focused on building long-term relationships with customers in the metalcasting and foundry industry. This position involves actively seeking new sales opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong drive for success and have experience in B2B sales, particularly in cold calling and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing the deal
  • Researching, prospecting, cold calling and qualifying sales leads
  • Recognize the needs of the customer and provide detailed information about their ERP software solution
  • Effectively demonstrate services and strategy through a combination of pitch decks and technology demonstrations
  • Engage with various C-Level and senior level executives and schedule tele-conferences, Web meetings, and face-to-face meetings
  • Work with the business development team in preparation, attendance, and exhibition at tradeshows
  • Provide professional after-sales support for future orders to enhance the customers' dedication and experience
  • Negotiate agreements
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitors
  • Advise on appropriate user training and implementation costs
  • Participate in professional associations, committees, trade shows and chapter meetings
  • Maintain and update a CRM package with daily activity logs and manage data quality
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Conduct market research and analysis

Requirements

  • BS or BA in business administration, sales, marketing or engineering
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer B2B service role
  • Experience with cold calling, networking, and tradeshows
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software

Nice-to-haves

  • A basic knowledge of ERP systems
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account executive projects at a time
  • Understanding of change management and its impact on ERP software purchase and implementation
  • Teamwork orientation
  • Listening, presentation and demonstration skills
  • A basic knowledge of business and manufacturing processes
