About the position

The Account Executive for Merchant Services is responsible for prospecting new business in a designated territory, focusing on cold calling and building relationships with local businesses and bank partners. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing leads, and achieving revenue goals while representing the company in various community events and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business in the assigned territory through cold calling and networking events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community banks and referral partners.
  • Achieve sales and revenue goals set by management.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive lead management process.
  • Attend meetings with bank partners to promote services and provide updates.
  • Cultivate new relationships and generate qualified business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience.
  • Ability to drive maximum sales productivity and achieve revenue goals.
  • Strong cold calling skills and ability to source leads independently.
  • Experience in territory management and recruiting.
