About the position

The Account Lowes Programs Manager is a strategic role focused on establishing, selling, servicing, and maintaining retail accounts that are crucial for corporate growth objectives. This remote position requires collaboration with the Lowe's Account Team and various functions within the organization, including senior management. The manager will lead initiatives such as new product roll-outs, pricing and program implementation, and retail promotions, while ensuring long-term partnerships with retailers through effective program development and negotiation.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, sell, service, and maintain Retail Accounts fundamental to corporate growth objectives.
  • Provide direct support to the Lowe's Account Team and Director.
  • Lead new product roll-outs, pricing and program implementation, and sales initiatives.
  • Manage retail promotions, display upgrades, logistics solutions, and daily problem resolution.
  • Engage in the development of program offerings to drive sales, share, and margin enhancements.
  • Negotiate with retail account personnel to meet objectives and resolve account concerns.
  • Communicate daily with key Business Associates to manage sales initiatives and customer program development.
  • Support annual marketplace reviews regarding competitor offerings and customer requirements.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers to drive account programs and projects.
  • Manage Lowe's Field Sales Communication and Field Sales Manager calls.
  • Coordinate support activities from Pella to drive Sales, Share, and Margin at Retail account.
  • Execute projects that drive strategic value such as Omni-Channel and Pro/Contractor Business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform financial analysis and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Cognos Query.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail account management.
  • Familiarity with Omni-Channel strategies.
  • Knowledge of Pro/Contractor Business initiatives.
