About the position

The Account Manager at Actus Consulting Group, Inc. is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales of decorative material products across residential and commercial sectors in the United States and emerging markets in the Americas. This role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and delivering superior customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all facets of sales activities including customer service of existing accounts, sales presentations, sample development, order solicitation, production scheduling, and after-sale follow-up.
  • Communicate extensively with customers' Purchasing, Quality Control, R&D, Design, and Logistics teams, as well as the company's Tokyo sales office to provide effective products/services.
  • Coordinate the entire process from pre-production, production, through to delivery of the products.
  • Develop sales strategies to market products effectively.
  • Maintain existing customers by ensuring quality assurance and their satisfaction, while also developing relationships with new customers.
  • Research industry design trends to lead the development of saleable new designs/colors.
  • Research new industry opportunities, prepare reports, and identify potential clients.
  • Travel to see existing and potential customers and promote products, as well as attend trade shows to establish new contacts and market products.
  • Write sales reports, customer correspondence, and related business correspondence.
  • Prepare quotations, contracts, and follow up with customers.
  • Handle other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of outside sales (B2B) & marketing experience.
  • Proven ability to develop sales and marketing strategies aggressively and efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4 years of B2B Sales experience (Preferred).
  • Ability to relocate to Torrance, CA 90503 before starting work (Preferred).
