About the position

The Account Manager 3, Enterprise Direct Sales - GovEd role at Comcast Corporation is responsible for strategic account management and financial sales leadership for a portfolio of mid-market customers. The position focuses on generating new business, managing account strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive revenue growth and retention. The role requires proactive engagement with customers to identify upselling opportunities and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cultivation, execution, and delivery of sales and services to local and regional accounts in the Enterprise and mid-market segment.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota through identification and closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities.
  • Generate and close sales and revenue opportunities with new customers as assigned through leads and opportunities.
  • Proactively engage customers to understand their changing business needs and identify upselling/cross selling opportunities.
  • Prepare and conduct regular bill reviews and quarterly business reviews with key customers.
  • Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Company's products/services and pricing practices.
  • Initiate and deliver proposed solutions to meet customer needs related to various Business Class products.
  • Monitor customer usage and performance of connected products and services to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues and coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations leadership to develop account management plans.
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with support groups to ensure timely project completion.
  • Position and sell Company Business Class services across multiple organizational levels.
  • Manage existing revenue, sales opportunities, quota, funnels, and forecasts consistent with corporate goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in sales and account management.
  • Strong knowledge of business sales processes and customer relationship management.
