About the position

The Account Manager position at CoAdvantage involves partnering with Business Consultants and Human Resource Consultants to present and manage employee benefit solutions for major accounts. The role focuses on developing long-term relationships with clients and internal partners, conducting enrollment meetings, and providing strategic analysis of benefit offerings. The Account Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on various insurance products and health care reform, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create and present strategic benefit and contribution analysis documents for prospective and current clients.
  • Prepare CoAdEnroll and/or enrollment packets and conduct employee enrollment meetings.
  • Collect all employee enrollment documentation and ensure clean and accurate case submission to carriers to meet enrollment deadlines.
  • Prepare and deliver client renewals with alternate strategies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interface with internal service teams to assist in system updates needed for renewed clients.
  • Interface with carriers and/or GAs to implement new accounts.
  • Recommend additional products or services that clients are not currently utilizing.
  • Partner with Benefit Specialists and Carriers to assist in client-centric escalated issues.
  • Document all activity and conversations in Salesforce to keep stakeholders up to date on client interactions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term effective and professional relationships with internal departments, clients, and external brokers.
  • Serve as a Health Care Reform trusted advisor for Business Consultants, Human Resource Consultants, Benefit Specialists, Prospects, and Clients.
  • Conduct all duties and responsibilities in a professional and confidential manner.

Requirements

  • PEO knowledge and familiarity with Master Plan products is a plus.
  • Client-facing presentation skills, either in-person or via webinar.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects and deliverables within established timeframes.
  • Listening and probing skills to assess and determine client and employee benefit needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both in-office and remotely.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and complete work as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid Health/Life state license (Non-resident licenses in TX, FL, CA, GA, and CO a plus) can be earned during the first 90 days.
